Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Manager for a leading plumbing and heating supplier in Ireland. This fully field-based role is five days a week, managing 20 key accounts and focusing on growing the business.

You will cold call building sites, engage with plumbers, and negotiate deals to win new projects. Territory includes Monaghan, Cavan, Longford and Westmeath, offering autonomy and growth. Base salary is €45,000–€65,000 per year with an uncapped commission and vehicle option.

• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills; comfortable with cold calling.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently managing own time and territory.

About Your New Job

• As the Area Sales manager, you will be fully field based 5 days a week and manage 20 key accounts, with a strong focus on developing these relationships and generating new business.
• You will proactively cold call into building sites and engage directly with plumbers to win new projects and negotiate deals.
• Your territory will include Monaghan, Cavan, Longford, Westmeath, offering variety and scope for growth.
• This is a brand-new role created as part of our ongoing expansion, giving you autonomy and the opportunity to make your mark.

What Skills You Need

• Proven experience in field or area sales, ideally within the plumbing, building supplies, or construction sectors.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, comfortable with cold calling and developing business with new clients.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, managing your own time and territory effectively.
