Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Representative for a leading supplier of plumbing and heating products in Ireland. This fully field-based role involves managing 20 key accounts, developing relationships, cold calling on building sites, and negotiating deals to win new business.

The territory covers Louth, Meath, Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and parts of Wexford. You will have uncapped commission, a base salary of €45,000–€65,000 per year, and the autonomy to shape your own success.

Qualifications

• Proven field or area sales experience, preferably in plumbing, building supplies, or construction.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a track record of developing new business.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage a defined territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage 20 key accounts across assigned territories with a focus on growth.
• Proactively cold call on building sites and engage plumbers to win new projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships to negotiate deals and secure business.
• Operate across Louth, Meath, Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, and parts of Wexford with autonomy.

About Your New Job

• As the Area Sales Representative, you will be fully field based 5 days a week and manage 20 key accounts, with a strong focus on developing these relationships and generating new business.
• You will proactively cold call into building sites and engage directly with plumbers to win new projects and negotiate deals.
• Your territory will include Louth, Meath, Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, and parts of Wexford, offering variety and scope for growth.

What Skills You Need

• Proven experience in field or area sales, ideally within the plumbing, building supplies, or construction sectors.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, comfortable with cold calling and developing business with new clients.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, managing your own time and territory effectively.
