Job summary

ACCPRO is seeking an Apprentice Toolmaker to join our team and develop the skills to manufacture high-precision aerospace components. You will participate in the SOLAS Toolmaking Apprenticeship Programme with hands-on training on-site and at dedicated training centres, and, on successful completion, become a fully qualified Toolmaker.

Key responsibilities include learning to operate and set up machine tools, reading drawings, measuring components, and developing tooling and CAD/CAM skills.

Qualifications

• Technical background or machining experience is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop is essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interest in engineering and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Learning to operate and set up machine tools.
• Manufacturing precision components to exact specifications.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Using measuring and inspection equipment to ensure quality and accuracy.
