Qualifications

• Qualified Toolmaker with a completed apprenticeship and toolroom experience.
• Experience operating conventional machine tools and interpreting technical drawings.
• Wire EDM experience desirable; CNC programming knowledge advantageous.
• Strong practical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, repair and maintain precision tools to technical drawings.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders and spark erosion equipment; hand-finishing as required.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and ensure tools meet specifications and deadlines.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain maintenance records; assist with training apprentices.
