Job summary

AIB is offering the IOB Professional Banking Practitioner Apprenticeship programme in Dublin and nearby locations. You will work four days a week in a retail banking team while attending IOB/UCD classes one day a week, progressing toward a UCD Level 8 degree.

The paid role includes mentoring, practical banking experience, and opportunities to develop customer service and financial knowledge. Successful applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland and be ready to commit to three years of study

• Willingness to learn and develop within banking
• Demonstrated commitment to completing a UCD Level 8 degree
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-facing environment

Responsibilities

• Join AIB's Retail team and gain hands-on experience in a customer-facing banking environment.
• Develop practical skills in customer service, operations, problem-solving and relationship building.
• Build confidence in understanding customers' financial needs and supporting day-to-day banking services.
• Participate in learning events, networking opportunities and professional development activities with fellow apprentices.
• Progress knowledge, skills and responsibilities throughout the programme while working towards your UCD degree qualification.
• Successfully complete academic modules, workplace assessments and programme milestones over three years.
