Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment’s Dublin-based client, a leading Irish contractor, is hiring an Applications Coordinator for their Digital Construction team. This hybrid role focuses on implementing and supporting digital construction tools, dashboards and data governance to drive project delivery.

You will work with site teams and data owners to improve adoption, governance and reporting, while staying abreast of AI and emerging tech in construction.

Qualifications

• Previous site-based construction experience.
• Experience with construction/project management software (Procore, CMiC, Datascope, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, BIM 360 or similar).
• Experience with Power BI or another BI/dashboarding tool.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train others.
• Ability to explain technology clearly to users with varying levels of technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key user and SME for digital construction platforms (e.g., Procore, CMiC, Datascope).
• Support project teams with implementation and day-to-day use of digital systems.
• Deliver group training and one-to-one user support.
• Develop onboarding materials, user guides and e-learning content.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting tools; ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Support analytics and digital reporting rollouts; ensure data governance.

Our client is an award-winning, leading Irish Fit Out Contractor with a strong presence in Dublin and an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, education, healthcare and technology sectors.

As the business continues to invest in digital transformation, they are seeking an ambitious ApplicationsCoordinator to join their growing Digital Construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of site-based construction and project delivery who wants to move into, or further develop their career within, Digital Construction, construction technology and data-driven project delivery.

The Role

As Applications Coordinator, you will become a key subject matter expert for the company's digital construction systems and play an important role in supporting project teams across the business.

You will work closely with site teams, project managers and data owners to improve the adoption, performance and governance of key digital tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a key user and subject matter expert for digital construction platforms such as Procore, CMiC, Datascope and Power BI.
• Supporting project teams with the implementation and day-to-day use of digital systems.
• Delivering group training and one-to-one user support across the business.
• Developing onboarding materials, user guides and e-learning content to help build digital capability.
• Maintaining and developing dashboards and reporting tools.
• Working with data owners to ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and reliable.
• Supporting the rollout of wider analytics and digital reporting initiatives.
• Playing an active role in data quality, governance and access controls.
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflows through technology and digital innovation.
• Keeping up to date with developments in AI, R&D and emerging technologies within the construction industry.
• Representing the Digital Construction team at industry events and contributing to external communications and marketing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and a genuine interest in how technology can improve project delivery.

You will ideally have:

• Previous site-based construction experience and a strong understanding of how construction projects are delivered.
• Experience using construction or engineering project management software such as Procore, CMiC, Datascope, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, BIM 360 or similar platforms.
• Experience with Power BI or another dashboarding/business intelligence tool.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to train and support both individuals and groups.
• The ability to explain technology clearly to users with different levels of technical experience.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• A good understanding of the importance of data quality, governance and controlled access to information.
• A genuine interest in digital transformation, AI, R&D and emerging technologies within construction.
