Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cork, Ireland seeks an Apple Pay eCommerce Merchant Specialist to initiate and engage with merchants to drive Apple Pay acceptance and enable a best-in-class integration on digital channels.

The role collaborates with Business Development, Product and Operations teams within WPC to deliver seamless merchant enablement. The position requires cross-functional collaboration, fluent Spanish or Italian with strong English, and a proven track record in quota-driven sales.

Qualifications

Spanish or Italian language fluency with high English proficiency.
Excellent communication skills across email, phone, and in person.
Self-driven, organized, multitasker with minimal supervision.
Results oriented with experience in quota-carrying roles and forecasting.
Bachelor degree or equivalent years of sales or business development experience.

Responsibilities

Sourcing new merchant opportunities via emails, outbound calls, or inbound lead follow-up.
Managing and supporting merchants through the full Apple Pay enablement cycle from discovery to launch.
Identifying key players and managing end-to-end enablement with merchants and payment partners.
Supporting merchants through post-go-live growth initiatives (UX audits and conversion optimization).
Establishing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships.
Onboarding merchants with Apple Pay integration in collaboration with Technical Specialists.
Building and delivering a communications strategy to evangelize Apple Pay (webinars, one-to-one or one-to-many).
Providing updates on account and pipeline progress to leadership.
