Job summary

Accenture is seeking an API Sales Representative to drive adoption of consumption-based, cloud, and AI products. You will engage developers and technical decision-makers, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and guide customers toward the right API solutions to enable innovation.

• Proven experience selling consumption-based or usage-driven products such as APIs, cloud compute, or AI services.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business acquisition via outbound calls, emails, and digital channels to engage technical and product-focused prospects.
• Own complex, multi-stage sales cycles focused on API adoption, usage ramp, and long-term consumption growth.
• Forecast, manage, and optimize usage-based pipeline with expected consumption and expansion paths.
• Qualify leads through consultative and technical conversations to understand integration requirements and business objectives.
• Position API solutions in the context of cloud compute, AI/data workloads, and developer ecosystems.
• Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, and communicate API capabilities and pricing clearly.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering for demos, proofs of concept, and deep technical dives.
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Work with marketing, product, engineering, and customer success to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records across activity, pipeline stages, and forecasts.
• Stay current on product updates, API docs, rate limits, security, and competitor offerings.
