Job summary

MSD in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary, is seeking an API Maintenance Lead (Assoc. Dir) to drive maintenance planning, scheduling and high asset uptime across the API IPT.

You will lead a skilled maintenance team, focusing on talent development, capability building and a growth mindset. The role covers PM/CM execution, deviation investigations, budget governance and integration with site projects. You will work with Reliability and Systems leads to improve digital tools and ensure compliance with cgmp

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Engineering or equivalent post‑trade qualification with experience in engineering or maintenance.
• Broad multi-functional experience in maintenance environments and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling of all PM/CM activities for facilities and equipment to achieve optimal maintenance planning.
• Execution and close-out of all maintenance activities.
• PM program development and optimisation for equipment and systems.
• Investigation and closure of PM deviations and equipment-related deviations.
• Management of engineering expenditures (routine & non-routine).
• Maintenance input into the site capital plan and project interfaces.
• Maintenance input into shutdown planning and coordination.
• Provide SME input for assigned equipment systems and ensure high asset uptime while meeting PM/Calibration compliance.
