Job summary

AstraZeneca APICOM is building a new API manufacturing facility in College Park, Dublin. As Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will influence maintenance strategy, reliability and asset performance during build and early operations.

You will lead cross-functional efforts to embed reliability, optimize maintenance and ensure GMP, safety and environmental compliance as the site scales to commercial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of ATEX environments and building Electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with process equipment, utilities and facility systems.
• Experience using CMMS platforms such as SAP, Maximo or Infor.
• Understanding of SILs and SIFs.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause investigation skills.
• Experience leading reliability improvement and asset management initiatives.
• Experience managing engineering change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Support CQV during equipment handover and transition to sustaining operations.
• Contribute to design reviews to ensure safe, efficient and maintainable operations.
• Finalize CMMS with maintenance strategies, job plans and preventive programmes.
• Develop maintenance procedures and supporting documentation.
• Support service provider selection and SLAs.
• Lead reliability improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead day-to-day troubleshooting and root-cause investigations.
• Provide frontline engineering support to maintenance technicians and operations teams.
