Job summary

Moofwd is seeking a Manager, Product Development – API Governance to lead API governance, standards, and lifecycle management within the Developer Experience team. You will drive the product vision, define requirements, and partner with engineering to execute the roadmap, while applying AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery.

With at least 5 years in related product roles, you will apply payments industry knowledge to ensure secure, usable, scalable APIs across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, engineering, business, or product management.
• Minimum 5 years in product management, product development, or API/product roles.
• Experience in payments/fintech, banking, or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of APIs, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to translate complex tech concepts into business outcomes.
• Experience with agile teams and developer tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead API governance and lifecycle management, setting strategy and roadmap.
• Define requirements, user stories, and priorities with engineering teams.
• Develop tools and processes to improve API design, governance, and performance.
• Maintain API standards, governance frameworks, and lifecycle processes.
• Leverage AI-driven solutions to enhance governance and developer experience.
• Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams across markets.
• Oversee API lifecycle touchpoints: onboarding, launch, adoption, maintenance.
• Ensure API documentation meets quality standards for developers.
