Job summary

Moofwd is seeking a Senior DevOps Consultant to lead cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production support in a fast-paced, regulated fintech environment. This contractor role requires 12+ years of hands-on DevOps expertise and offers an 8–24 month engagement with an on-call rotation.

You will drive Cloud (PCF/AWS), CI/CD (Jenkins/Forge/XLR), and messaging systems (Kafka/NATS) while ensuring security, reliability, and regulatory compliance across critical fintech applications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on DevOps experience in system operations or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise with PCF and AWS in fintech projects.
• Strong CI/CD automation skills (Jenkins, Forge, XLR).
• Hands-on with Kafka, NATS, and other messaging systems.
• Monitoring and production support skills (Dynatrace, Splunk).
• SQL: Postgres, Cassandra, Oracle databases.
• Experience with production support and compliance in fintech.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production support in a regulated fintech setting.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Forge, and XLR.
• Configure and optimize Kafka and NATS messaging for data flow.
• Monitor and improve performance with Dynatrace and Splunk, ensuring reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable systems.
• Provide production support and manage incidents per SLAs.
• Participate in on-call rotations (approx. 1 in 4 weeks) for production support.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure fintech compliance and best practices.
