Job summary

The Brehon Hotel & Spa in Ireland is seeking an Accommodation Assistant to maintain high hygiene standards across the hotel. You will report to the Accommodation Manager and Spa Manager and work full-time with evening shifts.

Responsibilities include cleaning relaxation areas, replenishing towels and guest supplies, managing towels and laundry, and ensuring safe handling of cleaning products. This role requires attention to detail, a team-focused attitude, and availability for weekends.

• Cleaning and preparing relaxation areas, changing rooms, showers and other spa facilities.
• Replenishing towels, toiletries and guest supplies.
• Ensuring all areas are maintained to high hygiene and presentation standards.
• Collecting and managing used towels and spa laundry & bringing to the laundry.
• Cleaning and sanitising equipment and frequently touched surfaces.
• Reporting any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
• Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are used and stored safely.
• Using scrubbing machine to ensure all floors are washed daily.
• Greeting guests warmly and assisting with queries.

Job description

The Brehon Hotel is currently recruiting for the position of Accommodation Assistant. Reporting to the Accommodation Manager & Spa Manager you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Hotel. This is a full time variable contract, 32-39 hours per week, with shifts from 6:00pm - 10:00pm, including weekends.

Main Duties will include:

• Cleaning and preparing relaxation areas, changing rooms, showers and other spa facilities
• Replenishing towels, toiletries and guest supplies
• Ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest hygiene and presentation standards
• Collecting and managing used towels and spa laundry & bringing to the laundry
• Cleaning and sanitising equipment and frequently touched surfaces
• Reporting any maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly
• Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are used and stored safely
