Fidelity is seeking a proactive professional to join its Operations & Corporate Shared Services team in Ireland. The role focuses on day-to-day trade confirmation and reconciliation across hedge funds, REITs, funds of funds, and private investment funds, ensuring accurate reporting and timely inquiry responses.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day trade confirmation and reconciliation processes.
  • Provide timely reporting and respond to inquiries across Trades, Recon and Dividends for Hedge Funds and related asset classes.
  • Escalate issues and resolve complex reconciliation problems.
  • Coach and develop associates as needed.
  • Act as SME on projects and escalations and drive process improvements.

The Expertise We're Looking For
  • 4+ years brokerage experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Prior experience with the alternative investment product is preferred
  • Prior reconciliation experience is preferred

The Purpose of Your Role

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities ensuring all trade confirmation and reconciliation processes, reporting and inquiry responses are completed timely and accurately, working with internal business partners across the Trades, Recon and Dividends functions relating to Hedge Funds, non-publicly traded REITS, Funds of Funds, Private Investment Funds and other asset classes. These activities are performed daily and require adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for handling escalation requests and for resolving complex reconciliation issues in a timely manner.

Having exposure to associate coaching and development is desirable. The associate will act as the owner of the relationship between the Product Sponsor and Fidelity.

  • Must have the ability to develop solid action plans to resolve daily operational issues/problems.
