The Expertise We're Looking For

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about engineering excellence and technology innovation. If you habitually write clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code, we want you on our team!

  • Proficiency with middleware Java stack, messaging technologies, and web containers such as Spring Boot and Kafka.

The Purpose of Your Role

In this role, you will actively contribute to the code base while collaborating with a diverse team and our business partners. Your critical thinking skills will be important as you translate stories and use cases into applications and features that give Fidelity a strategic edge.

The Skills You Bring

Your ability to write client and service layer code proficiently, maintaining high quality and passion, is crucial. You will deliver maintainable, extensible, reusable, and performant solutions, adapting quickly and following a process that emphasises testing acceptance criteria first. You will identify and address bottlenecks and issues, commit to collaborative problem-solving, and effectively communicate. Additionally, you will have experience with diverse architectures from monolithic to microservice-based.

The Value You Deliver

You will lead the development and implementation of software solutions aligned with the program’s strategic goals.

Your tasks include application development, joining design and code reviews, and fully engaging in product quality efforts like building test cases and regression testing. You will also help improve engineering procedures in ATDD and CI/CD and collaborate with a distributed team of developers to establish standards for software engineering.
