Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Corporate Actions Analyst in Ireland for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves daily processing of Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions and coordinating information flow among Front Office, Portfolio Managers, Fund Accounting, Treasurers, and Custodian banks.

The successful candidate will work within Fidelity's Global Corporate Actions team, interact with multiple groups, and contribute to data management and reporting while operating under a hybrid model

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant Financial Services experience
  • Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions processing experience preferable
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Process daily Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions activities.
  • Coordinate flow of information between Front Office, Portfolio Managers, Fund Accounting, Treasurer's Offices and Custodian banks.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and represent the business to customers and partners.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and contribute to data quality and reporting.

Job Description:

The Corporate Actions Analyst is responsible for the daily processing associated with Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions. The successful candidate will assist with co-ordinating the flow of required information between various stakeholders, including the Front Office, Portfolio Managers, Fund Accounting, Treasurer's Offices and Custodian banks.

This is Fixed Term contract for 12 months.

The Expertise We're Looking For
  • 1-2 years of relevant Financial Services experience
  • Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Actions processing experience preferable
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
The Purpose of Your Role

The Global Corporate Actions team is responsible for all aspects of Corporate Actions processing. This includes Income, Mandatory and Voluntary events. The Corporate Actions Analyst is responsible for the daily tasks associated with processing Corporate Actions. This includes fulfilling the departments policies associated with corporate actions reporting and data management. The successful applicant will interact with many groups within the Fidelity organization and represent the business to customers and business partners.

How Your Work Impacts the Organization

The Global Middle Office acts as a servicing centre for FMR Co.'s trading desks globally, facilitating the confirmation and settlement of security and currency transactions with brokers and custodian banks, and providing daily cash estimates to Trading. It is also responsible for coordinating corporate action executions, ensuring the collection of income to the Funds, resolving position differences and facilitating securities lending activities.

We are currently operating under a hybrid model, with some flexibility for remote working. However, Fidelity is gradually transitioning towards a full-time return to the office, as we believe this will help strengthen our culture and enhance both the associate and customer experience. At present, this transition is expected to begin from 2027 onwards, although no fixed timeline has been confirmed.
