Job summary

Aramex Ireland Limited in Dublin North seeks a Sea Freight Operations Executive to join the Air and Ocean Freight Team at our Dublin Depot. You will manage import/export shipments, coordinate documents, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service levels.

With at least 2 years in sea freight, you will use Cargowise, ensure accurate invoicing, and drive on-time delivery while meeting deadlines and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sea freight and imports/exports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Customs Clearance is desirable.
• Drive to achieve targets and objectives.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised to tight deadlines.
• Accuracy and high attention to detail.
• Own transport is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee import FCL/LCL consignments into Ireland.
• Create shipments on Cargowise from pre-alert docs.
• Coordinate documents and handover to customs brokerage for import clearance.
• Notify client of duty/VAT costs and ensure payment in advance.
• Check bill of lading status and Incoterms for handling.
• Book hauliers for collection and delivery to final receiver.
• Finalize invoicing and costs with billing team.
• Resolve account queries promptly by email or phone.
• Address customer queries within a timely timeframe.
• Receive bookings from clients for exports.
• Check rates/costs at booking receipt for accuracy.
• Organise transport on collection of sea freight shipments.
• Create export shipments on Cargowise (LCL/FCL).
• Send booking confirmations with ETD/ETA details.
• Arrange customs export entry via internal brokerage.
• Issue MBL/HBL and confirm SOB with carrier.
• Scan documents and pre-alert partners on export departures.
• Finalize invoicing and costs with billing team.
