Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking enthusiastic team members for its Cargo Operation at Dublin Airport. You will provide essential clerical support to the cargo function, assist with customs clearance, handle cash invoicing, and perform basic reception duties within the warehouse environment.

The role requires flexibility to work varied shifts, strong English communication, IT literacy, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate required.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Travel to airport when public transport isn't available.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• IT literate and able to learn airline software systems.
• Ability to follow processes and adapt when needed.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather.
• Able to demonstrate good customer service.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Previous aviation experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Basic Customs Clearance Process.
• Cash Invoicing.
• Acceptance of high value goods (radioactive goods, live animals, dangerous cargo).
• Reception duties (greeting clients/visitors, answering calls, sorting post, filing).
• Comply with legislation, airport authority and carrier security requirements.
• Comply with Swissport SOPs.
• Operate any necessary machinery.
• Additional warehouse duties as required.
