Korn Ferry is seeking an AI Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale AI transformation programme in Dublin. The role supports 20+ enterprise AI initiatives across functions, translating business needs into clear technical and functional requirements.

You will collaborate with AI architects, developers, data teams and external partners to manage multiple initiatives, control scope and deliver measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with process mapping and as-is/to-be analysis.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and interviews with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience producing BRDs, requirement matrices, process flows, user stories and test acceptance cases.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear business, data and functional requirements.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

  • Communicate decisions and obtain formal sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Maintain centralised programme documentation and capture learnings.

AI Technical Business Analyst

Location: Dublin
Contract: 6-month initial contract, with potential for extension
Start Date: Immediate start preferred
Working Arrangement: Dublin - on-site

Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI Technical Business Analyst to join a large-scale AI transformation programme, supporting a portfolio of 20+ enterprise AI initiatives across multiple business functions, operational processes and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with an existing AI Technical Business Analyst, AI Technical Architect, internal stakeholders, external partners and AI development teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical and functional requirements.

This is a fast-paced delivery environment requiring someone who can manage multiple concurrent initiatives, challenge assumptions, control scope and maintain a strong focus on measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery activities, workshops and stakeholder interviews across business and technical teams.
  • Analyse existing processes, systems, data flows and dependencies, developing clear as-is and to-be process models.
  • Translate business needs into clear business, data and functional requirements.
  • Challenge assumptions and proposed requirements to ensure solutions remain focused on business outcomes.
  • Prioritise requirements, clearly distinguishing must-have requirements from nice-to-have requests.
  • Manage requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle and help control scope creep.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including:
    • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
    • Requirement matrices
    • Process flows
    • Business process models
    • User stories
    • Test acceptance cases
  • Communicate requirements, decisions and scope clearly to stakeholders and obtain formal sign-off.
  • Support solution validation, development, system testing, UAT, deployment and adoption.
  • Analyse data flows, process inputs and outputs, data availability and potential enrichment opportunities.
  • Work closely with AI architects, developers, data teams and external delivery partners.
  • Maintain centralised programme documentation and capture reusable learning across initiatives.
  • Manage multiple AI initiatives concurrently within a structured delivery environment.
Key Skills & Experience
Business Analysis & Requirements
  • Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within transformation or IT delivery programmes.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and proposed requirements.
  • Proven ability to prioritise requirements and manage scope effectively.
  • Strong experience with process mapping, business process modelling and as-is/to-be analysis.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and interviews with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong experience producing BRDs, requirement matrices, process flows, user stories and test acceptance cases.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear business, data and functional requirements.
  • Experience supporting development, system testing, UAT, deployment and validation.
  • Understanding of both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
AI, Data & Technical Literacy
  • Experience supporting AI, data science or data-driven initiatives with operational or business impact.
  • Good understanding of current AI technologies, enterprise AI use cases and AI-enabled process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure AI, Azure AI Foundry, Snowflake AI or similar cloud-based AI and data platforms is highly beneficial.
  • Experience analysing data flows and assessing data availability, inputs, outputs and enrichment opportunities.
  • Understanding of data governance, data modelling, data acquisition and metadata considerations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Industry Experience
  • Strong Financial Services experience.
  • Experience working with operational and regulatory requirements and translating these into practical delivery requirements.
Stakeholder Management
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
  • Ability to communicate decisions, scope and requirements clearly and secure stakeholder sign-off.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, architects, developers, external partners and business teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to operate independently while contributing effectively to a wider delivery team.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will combine strong Technical Business Analysis and requirements management experience with a genuine understanding of AI, data and emerging enterprise technologies.

They will be comfortable operating across business and technical teams, managing competing priorities, challenging requirements constructively and turning complex business needs into clearly defined requirements that can be delivered and tested.
