Job summary

Lex Consultancy is seeking an AI Business Analyst in Dublin to bridge business needs with AI technology. The role focuses on identifying opportunities for AI, translating requirements into practical use cases, and supporting implementation and testing to measure business impact.

With 4+ years in business analysis and a Bachelor’s in a related field, you’ll evaluate AI tools, work with APIs, and define KPIs such as accuracy and adoption.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in business analysis, business systems, automation, process improvement or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IS, CS, Data Science, AI or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes and defining or tracking KPIs.
• Practical understanding of generative AI, LLMs, prompt design, AI agents and AI evaluation.
• Technical understanding of APIs, data sources, integrations and automation workflows.
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Python coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritise opportunities for AI, automation and process improvement.
• Gather requirements and translate them into clear use cases, workflows and acceptance criteria.
• Evaluate, configure and prototype AI tools, agents and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams on APIs, integrations and enterprise applications.
• Manage requirements intake, documentation, priorities and delivery activities.
• Define and monitor KPIs including accuracy, adoption, efficiency, time saved and user satisfaction.
• Develop test plans and evaluate AI solutions for accuracy, groundedness, completeness and consistency.
• Support responsible AI practices covering privacy, security, access, human oversight and operational risk.
• Create process maps, requirements documentation, user guidance and management reports.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As part of continued growth, they are seeking anAI Business Analystto join their Dublin-based team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can bridge the gap betweenbusiness needs and AI technology. You will identify opportunities for AI and automation, translate requirements into practical solutions, support implementation and testing, and measure business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, SharePoint, Business Central, CRM, Excel or BI platforms is beneficial.
