Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our AI‑driven agent platform. You will design and deliver end‑to‑end agent solutions for major enterprise clients, integrating data pipelines, APIs and LLM tooling in production.

The role demands 3+ years in software engineering, a CS degree, fluency in English plus French and Arabic, and hands‑on work with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Apex and prompt engineering; travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
• Customer-facing technical delivery experience (consulting, professional services).
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering; able to explain failures and improvements.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Able to work with sales teams and customer architects.
• Shipping quality code with engineering rigor.
• Willing to travel ~25% to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organisations.
• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own technical components end-to-end: architecture to production.
• Build and integrate data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Contribute to proofs‑of‑concept and MVPs deployed rapidly.
• Co‑build with customers and partners, sharing best practices.
• Surface platform gaps and feedback to senior engineers and product teams.
• Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate challenges into deployable solutions.
