Job summary

n8n is seeking a senior Deal Desk lead to build and own an AI-first pricing and approvals function. You will shape discount rules, CPQ processes, and contract terms, working closely with Sales, Legal, and RevOps to protect margins and speed close.

You’ll drive deal velocity through structured governance, redline libraries, and automation, while ensuring Salesforce data integrity and scalable policy implementation across regions.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building and operating a deal desk, not just executing processes.
• SaaS pricing fluency, ARR reporting, and enterprise contract structures.
• Ability to negotiate and redline terms directly with customers and involve Legal when needed.
• Hands-on CPQ and Salesforce configuration and operation.
• AI-native approach with automation of deals or approvals.
• Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Legal, RevOps, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Build n8n's Deal Desk from scratch with AI-first intake, approvals, and pricing guardrails.
• Advise Sales on deal structure to protect margin without slowing cycles.
• Maintain simple discount rules for self-service application by Sales.
• Run monthly/quarterly deal war rooms to sustain velocity.
• Handle contract redlines and non-standard terms, minimizing Legal escalations.
• Create a redline clause library and AI-suggested fallback terms.
• Automate approvals and quoting in CPQ; triage requests for re-approval.
• Own Salesforce data quality and executed-contract hygiene.
• Support renewal/expansion structuring with Customer Success.
• Coordinate security/compliance requests across Sales, Security, Legal.
• Report monthly on deal desk performance metrics.
