Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 0 to 2 years of professional software engineering experience. Internships, co-op, open source, and projects count.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Python with solid fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Git and code review as part of development.
• Understanding of web technologies and APIs (HTTP, REST, JSON).
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Comfort with AI-assisted development tools and ability to verify results.
• Curiosity and willingness to read code you didn't write.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), CI/CD, containers, testing, or React.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain production code for consumer experiences, platform services, and integrations.
• Work within an agile product team, taking stories from refinement through development, code review, testing, and deployment.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your work while maintaining accountability for your code.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold our engineering standards.
• Learn and apply CI/CD, IaC, security practices, and observability.
• Contribute to documentation for operability and extensibility.
• Ask questions and raise issues early to ensure clarity and quality.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and senior engineers to understand business outcomes.
