Job summary

Squarespace in Dublin, Ireland, seeks a Systems Technologist to embed AI into our customer support operations. This hands-on role sits at the crossroads of operations and engineering, owning AI logic, custom tools, and integrations that empower agents and improve the customer experience—from the chatbot that talks to customers to internal automations that lighten workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience building or configuring AI-powered features in production, chatbot logic, and LLM API integrations.
• Excellent API design and integration capabilities with REST/Webhooks/JSON.
• Experience administrating Zendesk (Support/Guide/App Framework) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with low-code tools (Zapier/Make/Workato) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Zendesk Apps for agent-facing data visibility.
• Own the AI chatbot configuration, API scripting, and conversation flow design.
• Administer Custom Objects, Liquid Markup, and Dynamic Content.
• Develop production-grade tools and ensure safe fallback paths for chatbot logic.
• Connect support tools (Slack, Jira) with internal systems and ensure data flows.
