Job summary

Squarespace in Dublin, Ireland seeks a Systems Technologist to weave AI into customer operations. You’ll own AI logic, custom tools, and integrations that empower agents and boost experiences—from the chatbot to internal automations—working closely with product and engineering teams.

You’ll design production-ready solutions, configure AI features, and collaborate across Slack, Jira, Zendesk, and internal systems to ship reliable, scalable capabilities that improve daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI into production workflows and chatbots.
• Strong API fluency with REST, JSON, Webhooks, and OAuth.
• Hands-on Zendesk customization and app development experience.
• Ability to ship reliable, well-tested tools end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Zendesk Apps for agent data visibility.
• Configure AI chatbot integration (Assembled) and API scripts.
• Connect support tools to internal systems (Slack, Jira) via scripting or low-code platforms.
• Own what you ship with maintainable, tested code and clear production metrics.
• Translate operations needs into technical specs for partner engineering teams.
• Decide scope boundaries between platform work and broader infra projects.
