Dow Jones in Ireland seeks an accomplished engineering leader to build and run an 18-person AI-native engineering organization. You will coach senior leaders, shape architecture, and guide the use of Claude and Claude Code across design, testing and governance to deliver high-quality software with fast feedback loops.

You will partner with Product and business leaders to translate customer pain points into measurable engineering outcomes, owning delivery while maintaining velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership in a high-growth SaaS product business.
• Track record developing leaders: promotions, expanded scope, succession plans.
• Hands-on code review, architecture discussion and prod-code contributions.
• Experience with AI-native engineering, Claude/ Claude Code.
• Experience leading across Engineering, Infrastructure, QA Automation and SRE.

Responsabilités

• Build leaders and high-performing teams, coaching 5–7 senior technical leaders.
• Design a lightweight engineering operating model with fast decisions and minimal ceremony.
• Develop an AI-native engineering operating system with Claude integration.
• Align engineering delivery with customer and business outcomes, ensuring predictable delivery.
• Set technical standards for scalable, reliable, cost-effective software and security.
• Lead by example, communicating strategy to engineers and executives.
