Clarity Locums is recruiting Registered General Nurses (RGNs) for agency work in Urgent Care settings in the Limerick area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and active NMBI registration.

Duties

• Providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care within an Urgent Care setting
• Assessing patients presenting with a wide range of acute and urgent healthcare needs
• Carrying out clinical observations and monitoring patients’ conditions
• Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in patients’ clinical presentation
• Administering medications and treatments safely and effectively
• Assisting with the assessment, treatment and management of patients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in General Nursing and Active Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Minimum 6 months post-registration nursing experience
• Previous experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, Acute Hospital, Medical/Surgical or similar setting is desirable
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Experience recognising and responding to changes in patients’ clinical condition
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong understanding of patient safety, confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Registered with Clarity Locums (or willing to register)
