Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking a Part-time Programme Lead to manage and lead a team delivering Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs in local schools. You will supervise daily activities, engage with children and families, and ensure a safe, fun, structured environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience with school-aged children, a Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification (or equivalent), English proficiency, and a valid Garda vetting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Own car required for programme lead.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
