Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is hiring a Programme Lead to manage and lead a team delivering before/after school and holiday club programmes at primary schools in Ireland. On-site roles require energy, enthusiasm, and strong interaction with children and families.

Applicants should have a childcare qualification (FETAC Level 5 or equivalent), experience with school-aged children, Garda vetting, and two written references.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Childcare qualification: Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Own car required for Programme Lead.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interact with the children, their families and other staff members daily.
• Demonstrate lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 1–2 years).
• Lead and support a team to deliver Before/After School and holiday club activities.
