Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Club programmes designed for national-aged children. The role operates on-site at schools, delivering fun, structured, and engaging daily activities.

As Programme Lead, you will manage and energize a small team, interact daily with children and families, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Applicants should have childcare experience and English proficiency; Garda vetting will be completed after interview.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Garda vetting required (completed after interview).
• Two written references required before starting.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of child development

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a programme team.
• Own car required for programme lead.
• Maintain day-to-day activities.
• Interact with children, families and staff daily.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred (min 2 years).
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Teams for admin and coordination.
