Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a Programme Lead to manage and lead a team delivering before/after school and holiday clubs on-site at partner schools across Ireland. You will oversee daily activities, engage with children and families, and bring energy and enthusiasm to a busy, child-centered program.

Applicants should have a childcare qualification (FETAC Level 5 or equivalent), at least 1 year working with school-aged children, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 year).
• Childcare qualification FETAC Level 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Own car required for programme lead.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 years).
• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
