Club Spraoi is seeking a Play Leader for our location at Gaelscoil Droichead na Banndan, Bandon, Co. Cork. This role is part-time and involves supporting the afterschool care programme for children aged 4–12, with a focus on safe play and engaging activities.

You will plan creative activities, encourage social development, and work within school policies. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience with children and may benefit from First Aid and Child Protection training.

Formación

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in working with children.
• First Aid Certificate an advantage
• Child Protection training an advantage
• QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care & Education / Montessori an advantage

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the day-to-day organisation and running of the Afterschool Care Programme, providing high standards of care and play opportunities for children aged 4-12 in a safe and secure environment.
• Plan and implement creative and exciting activities and play opportunities for the children.
• Support children in social, emotional and physical development; manage conflicts and behaviour.
• Work within the Club’s and school’s policies and procedures.
