Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking an energetic after-school facilitator to supervise, support homework, and run engaging activities for school-aged children at partner schools.

You will work on-site, Monday to Friday 1:40pm–6:00pm, with a focus on safety, inclusion, and positive development. A driving licence is required, Garda vetting will be completed after interview, and work permit/visa is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview).
• Work permit/visa essential.
• At least 2 written references before starting.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during activities and free play.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks.
• Engage in planned indoor and outdoor activities with the children each day.
• Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
