Job summary

Enable Ireland in Dublin South East (CHO6) is seeking an Outreach Support Worker to join our team. The role requires delivering community and centre-based afterschool supports with a person-centred approach to children and young people, including some weekend work and afterschool hours.

The successful candidate will have QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent, 1 year+ experience with children, a valid driver's licence, fluent English, and eligibility to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support, Community Care, Social Care, Childcare or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience working with children/young people and families in a professional setting.
• Experience with children/young people with physical disabilities and ASD.
• Full clean manual driver's licence and access to own transport.
• Fluent English spoken.
• Eligible to work in the state.
• Experience delivering services in outreach setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide community and centre-based afterschool supports to children/young people.
• Deliver individualised programmes tailored to each child's needs and interests.
• Work weekday afterschool hours and on weekends as required.
