Job summary

Enable Ireland in Ireland is seeking a motivated Support Worker for Dublin South East (CHO6). Posts are permanent with full-time and part-time hours up to 39 per week, located in Sandyford and Dun Laoghaire.

Salary ranges from €35,070 to €42,440 pro rata per annum, with potential increases in 2026 under the WRC agreement for Section 39 organisations. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, and enabling participation in day services and community activities; a full clean Class B

Qualifications

• FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Social Care or other similar health care area.
• Undertaking a FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Social Care or other similar health care area, with 2–3 modules completed, to be completed within 3 years of start.

Responsibilities

• The role of the Support Worker is to facilitate the Service Owner in all aspects of daily living, including assisting with personal care needs and mobility, and supporting access and participation in activities of choice provided by day services, in the community, and online/virtually.
• The post holder will provide opportunities to help develop options for the individual in training, employment, and greater inclusion in the local community.
