Job summary

Enable Ireland Northeast provides supported living to individuals with a primary physical disability. The Adult Support Worker will assist service users to maintain independence by supporting daily living, personal care and community access, tailored to each individual's needs.

The role requires shifts including sleepovers and weekends, with a QQI Level 5 Major Award in Social Care or a related health field. Driving licence and English fluency are essential for community delivery.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is essential.
• Hold a valid driving licence within the state/jurisdiction with access to own transport.
• Willingness to work shifts including sleepovers, weekends and varied hours.
• Minimum QQI Level 5 Major Award (8 modules) in Social Care/Disability/Health related area.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users to maintain independence and support daily living.
• Provide personal and domestic care, mobility support and community access.
• Support with therapy and other programmes as required, tailored to each individual.
