Job summary
Ashgrove Renewables in Ireland is seeking an Aftersales Technical Support Engineer to be the first technical contact after installation, focusing on solar PV, batteries and EV chargers, plus heat pumps. You will diagnose issues remotely for customers, installers and colleagues and prepare energy monitoring reports for service contracts.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting PV faults with various brands, assisting installers, handling customer queries, and producing monitoring reports
Qualifications
- Experience in technical support, field service or installation roles is advantageous.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong fault-finding approach with remote troubleshooting capability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve PV system faults using remote monitoring and site checks.
- Support heat pump systems, including error codes and commissioning settings.
- Respond to customer inquiries clearly and keep them informed until resolution.
- Provide technical guidance to installers and subcontractors on site.
- Prepare energy monitoring reports for service contracts.
- Log and manage support cases in Zoho CRM.
