Job summary

Energywise Ireland, based in Cork, seeks a skilled Electrician and HVAC Technician to join our growing team. You will wire and install heat pumps, PV inverters, hybrid inverters, diverters and EV chargers in domestic and commercial settings, ensuring electrical safety and meeting project timelines.

Applicants must be a qualified Electrician with F-gas registration or HVACT training, 3+ years’ experience, and a full clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• A qualified Electrician.
• F-gas registration or HVACT Technician course.
• Over 3 years hands-on experience as an electrician in domestic or commercial settings.
• Willing to work on roofs and at heights.
• Good team player with familiarity with Solar PV is a plus.
• Strong health and safety commitment and attention to detail.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Wire and install heat pumps, PV inverters, hybrid inverters, diverters and EV chargers.
• Electrical safety, inspecting systems for damage, malfunctions and hazards.
• Engage with clients, providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Execute tasks with precision and meet project timelines.
• Keep records up to date and compile essential documentation and photographs.
• Install, commission and service heat pump systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Diagnose faults and perform maintenance on heat pump systems.
• Carry out system testing and performance checks, including refrigerant pressure and electrical diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials, and provide technical support.
