Job summary

Sherpa Kids in Ireland offers Before School, After School, and Holiday Clubs at schools, delivering fun, structured daily activities on-site.

The Programme Lead will manage and lead a team, oversee day-to-day activities, interact with children, families and staff, and bring energy and enthusiasm to work. Own car required.

Experience with school-aged children is preferred (minimum 2 years); Garda vetting and two written references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with school-aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.
• Own car required for programme lead.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team within the programme.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interact with children, families and staff daily.
• Provide engaging activities and maintain a safe environment.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred (minimum 2 years).
