Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking a Programme Lead in Ireland to oversee before/after school and holiday clubs across partner schools. You will lead a team, ensure daily activities run smoothly, and engage with children, families and staff with energy and care.

The role requires experience with school-aged children, childcare qualification (Fetac Level 5 or equivalent), and strong English communication. Garda vetting and references are completed after interview.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year).
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the programme and team.
• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interact with the children, their families and other staff members each day.
• Bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Own car required for programme lead.
