Sherpa Kids in Ireland is seeking a dedicated team member to supervise school-aged children during before and after school and holiday clubs, working on-site at partner schools in Donacarney. This part-time role focuses on safe, engaging activities designed to support children and families.

You will assist with homework, lead games, crafts, and group activities, bring energy and enthusiasm, and help create a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage)
• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Responsabilités

• Supervise children during activities and free play
• Assist with homework and educational tasks
• Engage in a variety of planned activities (both indoor and outdoor) with the children each day
• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children
• Assist with games, crafts, and group activities
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment

Connaissances

Experience with school aged children

Basic knowledge of child development

Proficiency in English (verbal and in)
