Henkel Ireland in Tallaght is seeking a Product Development Chemist to advance LOCTITE adhesive technologies. You will contribute to new product development, raw material qualification, and synthetic chemistry to improve adhesives.

The role involves coordinating development projects, interpreting data, and protecting IP through patents and publications, while maintaining thorough documentation and collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on laboratory experience is required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products and technologies for Machinery and Instant Adhesives lines.
• Plan and execute lab development activities, including formulation and testing.
• Lead development projects with timely delivery and adherence to procedures.
• Analyze data, draw conclusions, and propose next steps.
• Communicate findings to project teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global teams to meet customer needs.
