Job summary

Henkel Ireland, Tallaght, Dublin 24, is seeking a full-time Product Development Chemist to join our Product Development team. The role focuses on LOCTITE adhesive technologies, including anaerobics, cyanoacrylates and acrylates.

The successful candidate will contribute to new product and technology development, raw material qualification to support continuity of supply, and apply synthetic chemistry expertise to develop and improve our adhesive technologies.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
Hands-on laboratory experience with adhesive chemistry and materials development.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop new products and technologies to support Machinery and Instant Adhesives businesses.
Plan and carry out lab-based development activities including formulation and testing.
Lead development projects and ensure timely delivery.
Analyse data and protect IP via patents, publications and know-how.
Maintain technical documentation of experiments and project progress.
Communicate findings to project teams and stakeholders effectively.
Collaborate with global teams to support customer needs and business goals.
