Job summary

Aviva plc in Ireland is seeking an Actuarial System Architect to design and evolve our actuarial systems landscape. You will own end-to-end data and modelling processes, ensuring seamless data flows from source administration to finance, risk and regulatory reporting.

You will collaborate with actuarial, finance, risk, technology and data teams to define future-state architecture, improve automation and governance, and deliver scalable, robust solutions across the modelling environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with actuarial systems, modelling environments or financial reporting ecosystems.
• Understanding of Solvency II, IFRS 17 or related reporting frameworks.
• Proficient in databases and data architecture; SQL proficiency; exposure to Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of Aviva's actuarial systems architecture, ensuring solutions support current and future reporting requirements.
• Own the end-to-end view of actuarial data and modelling processes, overseeing information flows from source systems through to reporting outputs.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to improve automation, integration, governance and operational efficiency across the modelling and reporting landscape.
• Provide architectural expertise on system design, data structures, controls and implementation approaches.
• Partner with actuarial, finance, risk, technology and data stakeholders to implement strategic improvements across the wider systems environment.
