Qualifications

• Experience in data science, statistics, predictive modelling or actuarial analysis.
• Strong programming and data engineering skills (Python/SQL/R or similar).
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques for forecasting and insights.
• Ability to create impactful data visualisations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Degree in a numerate discipline; insurance/financial services experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced analytical insights using statistical modelling and machine learning to support actuarial reporting, surplus analysis, assumption validation and financial decision-making.
• Develop and maintain predictive models for forecasting, risk analysis, pricing evaluation and business performance assessment.
• Lead automation and enhancement of reporting through data pipelines, dashboards and innovative analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with actuarial, finance, risk and business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights for strategic outcomes.
• Support Aviva’s iCare culture with governance and responsible data practices in a collaborative environment.
