Ennis, Co Clare (Hybrid) | Permanent, full time | Reports to the Financial Controller

The best disability organisation in Ireland to grow your career.

Resilience Healthcare provides residential and day services for people with disabilities across Ireland. We are Ireland’s only B-Corp certified disability services provider, and we are growing quickly. Our finance team is established and experienced, and we are looking for an experienced specialist to own accounts receivable and credit control, and to work with the team on payments, expenses and the month end.

Why This Role

  • Full ownership of accounts receivable and credit control, which is the core of the job.
  • A varied role, with time required with the accounts team on payments, expenses, purchase orders and the month end, providing cover across receivables and payables.
  • A rapidly growing business, with an established, experienced finance team.
  • Work that matters: accurate billing and collections keep our services funded, so the people we support can live full lives in their communities.
  • Room to grow, in an organisation that has grown by double digits every year for the past decade and fills most promotions from within.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Accounts receivable and credit control

  • Monthly and ad-hoc invoices raised accurately and on time.
  • Aged debt and collections, following up overdue debt and escalating issues where needed.
  • Client purchase order follow-up and control, including outstanding, replacement and renewed POs.
  • Customer account maintenance and reconciliations, including unallocated payments and credits.
  • Month end AR reporting, and support for the year end audit.

Payments, expenses and purchase orders

  • Day to day support for our expense and card systems, including employee queries, expense coding to the general ledger and the card lifecycle.
  • Weekly expense reports and reconciliations.
  • Creation and amendment of approval flows in the internal PO system.
  • Working collaboratively with our various teams to keep the information in our systems accurate and up to date.

About You

  • At least 3 years of accounts receivable and credit control experience, including managing aged debt and customer collections.
  • Experience of working with public sector payers, including purchase order and remittance processes, is a benefit but not essential.
  • A good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and the month end.
  • A confident communicator, comfortable following up with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Organised and accurate, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong Excel and finance systems skills, and comfortable learning new ones.
  • Experience in health and social care is welcome but not essential.

What We Offer

A competitive salary and benefits package, in a rapidly growing business.

  • A permanent, full-time role with hybrid working from Ennis, Co Clare.
  • Real career progression in a growing organisation.
  • A specialist finance team, supported by dedicated HR, IT and L&D functions.
  • Healthcare with Laya Healthcare.
  • Paid maternity leave.
  • An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
