Job summary

Force Recruitment and Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team in Dublin. The role offers hybrid working and flexible hours, with ownership of a key area within accounts receivable.

You will manage customer accounts, follow up on payments, and support month-end activities while collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve controls. A portfolio of debtor accounts and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or similar finance role.
• Organised, detail-oriented and confident communicating with customers about payments and balances.
• Experience managing a debtor ledger and owning a portfolio of accounts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

We’re partnering with an established and growing organisation operating within the specialist services sector, with a strong presence across Ireland.

They are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control who is looking for a role offering hybrid working and flexible hours, alongside the opportunity to take ownership of a key area within the finance function.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of Accounts Receivable activities, including:

• Managing customer accounts and aged receivables
• Following up on outstanding payments and maintaining accurate debtor records
• Allocating customer payments and supporting reconciliations
• Handling customer billing and payment queries
• Working with internal teams to resolve invoice and account discrepancies
• Supporting month-end activities and reporting
• Monitoring payment terms and credit limits
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls

The Person:

We are looking for someone with previous experience inAccounts Receivable, Credit Control or a similar finance role.

You will be organised, detail-oriented and confident communicating with customers regarding payments and outstanding balances. Experience managing a debtor ledger and taking ownership of a portfolio of accounts would be highly beneficial.

This role would suit an experienced Accounts Receivable professional, Credit Controller, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant looking to develop their experience within a growing organisation.
