Teleflex Incorporated in Ireland seeks an accounts payable professional to manage daily SAP-based invoice processing and vendor inquiries. You will help ensure accurate month-end reconciliations and maintain vendor records.

The role requires at least two years in accounting, a Leaving Certificate with finance training, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset to support a multi-cultural finance team.

Competenze

• Leaving Certificate level or equivalent with a finance diploma or higher.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience.
• Broad knowledge of accounting and financial controls.

Mansioni

• Process accounts payable invoices on SAP for all entities.
• Liaise with other functions on AP/purchasing issues and drive resolution.
• Perform creditor reconciliations.
• Liaise with vendors as needed.
• Reconcile AP/purchasing at month end.
• Create or amend vendor master records.
• Participate in month end processes as required.
• Provide ad hoc finance support and back up colleagues.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day processing corporate expense claims and investigation of any queries or discrepancies. Other associated ad hoc tasks will be necessary from time to time.

Principal Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable Invoices on SAP for all legal entities.
• Liaise with other functions on AP/Purchasing issues; drive towards resolution
• Creditor Reconciliations
• Liaising with Vendors when necessary
• Reconcile AP/Purchasing at month end.
• Creating/amending vendor master record
• Participate in month end process as required
• Ad hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function.
• Back up for other colleagues where necessary

Education / Experience Requirements

• Education to Leaving Certificate level (or similar) and, preferably, to Diploma level in a finance discipline.
• A minimum of two years of responsible accounting experience.
• A broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles and their business applications
• Flexibility – willingness to help other colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in performing accounting tasks.
