Teleflex is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist on a fixed-term 18-month contract with hybrid working in Ireland. You will manage day-to-day processing of corporate expense claims and supplier invoices in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely payments across Teleflex entities.

The role involves creditor reconciliations, vendor master maintenance, and assisting with month-end close. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and attention to detail are essential in a multi-cultural finance team.

Qualifications

• Two years of responsible accounting experience.
• Education to Leaving Certificate or Diploma level in finance preferred.
• Broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles.

Responsabilités

• Process accounts payable invoices on SAP for all entities.
• Liaise with other functions on AP/purchasing issues; drive towards resolution.
• Creditor reconciliations.
• Liaising with vendors as needed.
• Reconcile AP/purchasing at month end.
• Create/ amend vendor master records.
• Participate in month end processes as required.
• Ad hoc tasks to support the Finance function.
• Back up for colleagues as necessary.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day processing corporate expense claims and investigation of any queries or discrepancies. Other associated ad hoc tasks will be necessary from time to time. #LI-hybrid #LI-UH1

• Process accounts payable Invoices on SAP for all legal entities.
• Liaise with other functions on AP/Purchasing issues; drive towards resolution
• Creditor Reconciliations
• Liaising with Vendors when necessary
• Reconcile AP/Purchasing at month end.
• Creating/amending vendor master record
• Participate in month end process as required
• Ad hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function.
• Back up for other colleagues where necessary

Education / Experience Requirements

• Education to Leaving Certificate level (or similar) and, preferably, to Diploma level in a finance discipline.
• A minimum of two years of responsible accounting experience.
• A broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles and their business applications
• Flexibility - willingness to help other colleagues to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in performing accounting tasks.
