Job description

Our client is a newly established civils and building contractor in Cork, seeking a driven and ambitious Accountant ready to shape the finance function from the ground up. With mostly remote working and occasional on‑site visits, you’ll gain hands‑on exposure to all aspects of the role and the freedom to drive your own professional growth.

Role

• Preparation of management accounts
• Payroll duties.
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Assist with other accounting activities and reporting
• Ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Part Qualified will also be considered
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication, customer care and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
• Proven background working in fast paced general accounting practice.
